Monsta X set to release new concert film, 'The Dreaming': All you need to know

Seoul: K-pop biggies Monsta X are flexing their muscles as they keep jumping from milestone to milestone. With the world audience already captivated by their groovy beats, infectious songs, synthesized modern music and explosive live performances, they plan to hook their fans even more with their upcoming concert film titled Monsta X: The Dreaming

A report by Rolling Stone reveals that the film is being directed by OH Yoon-dong, also the man behind the lens for the Blackpink concert film Blackpink: The Movie. It further states that the Monsta X film will be released in South Korea on December 8, followed by a worldwide release the next day. Incidentally, the premiere of the film will coincide with the release of their upcoming album of the same name as well.

The film will delve into the six-year journey of the boy band and how they climbed the ladders of success, according to an article by Billboard. It includes exclusive one-on-one interviews with all the six members, namely Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M, besides footage of live performances and tracks off their new album. Even more tantalizing is the fact that there is behind-the-scenes footage from the group’s tours and rehearsals which will provide viewers with an insight into how life is for a young, successful band in the 21st century.

The film is being presented by Starship Entertainment Co. Ltd./Intertwine Music, says the Rolling Stone report. It also reveals that the film can be viewed in ScreenX and 4DX formats. The former adds the theatre’s side walls to the front screen experience, while the latter cashes in on a multi-sensory experience by employing ‘think seats’ which groove to the music’s beats.
