Hailee Steinfeld feels joyous to work with an avenger in 'Hawkeye'

Hailee Steinfeld’s character, Kate Bishop, is overjoyed to be working with an Avenger. In a new ‘Hawkeye’ trailer published on Thursday by Marvel Studios, we find Bishop and her master Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), one of the founding Avengers, make Thanksgiving an action-packed one this year, since the theme of the trailer is also very festive and cheerful.

The glimpse in the trailer has some fresh ‘Hawkeye’ footage that is unquestionably “the holiday event” we cannot miss. Clint is running from his past as Ronin, much as we saw in the trailer, but simultaneously rushing back home for Christmas. However, his discovery of another superb archer, Kate Bishop, may jeopardise his objectives. Clint now has to deal with a masked criminal who is on the run.

‘Hawkeye’ s first two episodes will be available on Disney+ on November 24. It features Jeremy Renner reprising his role as the archer superhero to guide Kate in her quest to become an archer superheroine. In the comics, Kate was the first woman to take on the role of Hawkeye. Clint and Kate have a father-daughter bond in the series, which is aesthetically and visually appealing.

Marvel’s upcoming web series is being hailed as a graduation point for Jeremy Renner’s ‘Clint Barton’ where he passes on the Hawkeye mantle to his young protégé Kate Bishop.

The cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. ‘Hawkeye’ is helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie.

Hawkeye is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Don Heck, the character first appeared as a villain in ‘Tales of Suspense’ #57 and later joined the Avengers in ‘The Avengers’ #16. He has been a prominent member of the team ever since
